People, where I can download 3D Dizzy now?

Hi All,
Due to unforseen curcamstances i've lost the entire old website, including all comments diary entry's and screenshots(not stored on my local computer). This does not make me happy :( . I've also had my email tempareraly disabled which is also a bummer.

I'm currently upgrading the website to use an open source content management system. Its far from finished and i'm still not 100% sure what I'm doing.

All done for the time being.

Other than that - keep up! Great idea, I'm mylself doing a little dizzy-inspired game in Blitz3D, but I don't know if it's likely to see the light of the day.

Codemaster's supports Blitz who support Oliver Twins to make a Dizzy game for Xbox 360 Live Arcade using template that you designed. This would put Dizzy back where he belongs, Budget price for a retro gamer and new fans as well, a targeted age range of 3-45 as parents who own a 360 could get it for them and their kids. Just the thought's of a 26 year old

Dizzy fan from the uk who was and still is absored by Dizzy. This is by far the best thing that has happened for Dizzy since Prince Of The Yolkfolk came out and the Dizzy games became availabe as a collection(I remember that christmas well).

Looks great had the commy64 version of all dizzys when i was about 7 spent all my time playing them and finally comleted them, looks like them childhood days could be coming back again, Keep up the good work, can't wait.

Keep up the good work. Make sure its really tough in regard to gameplay. Graphics come later.

It is legal to make a game with Dizzy?

That is a pity thet the Codemasters doesn't plan to make a new Dizzy...

You may want to look into using something like this instead of blitz, ogre is totally kickass graphics engine and completely cross platform.

My computing days started with the humble Speccy and the very first game I bought was the original Dizzy which I still think of fondly, the screenies look great and I hope the game gets finished, good luck !

We are both amatures, were trying.. but ill be the first to admit we arent using things to their full potential

.....not sure you are using the blitz engine to it's full potential, I know Dizzy is cartoony but the textures are a bit lame on both the models and environment.

Looking at some of the basic CONCEPT TESTS, I agree, but come on have a look at the latest screen shots(true only regular visitors have seen all of them) and renders for the graphics.

Hi, it's nice to see that some people remember Dizzy as fondly as I do (although I had an Amstrad rather than a Speccy). Keep it up!

Like the new screenshot! I always saw a 3D Dizzy game to be like Mario 64, but of course without being able to kill stuff and more puzzley.
Wouldnt mind a little taster demo!

I too was doing a Dizzy 1 in 3D, but haven't touched it since September 03, however if you want some models (.x) I have two huts, a cauldron, well, massive tree, bush, obelixs and bushes, I'll be able to forward them after the 5th Jan if you like! All models are based on original Dizzy 1 Sprites, and were created using 3D canvas.

Stumbled upon this site while trying to find speccy stuff...and found a wonderful 3D Diz! Fair brings a tear to my fast becoming crow-feeted eyes...*sniff*....Keep up the good work, chaps and give our eggs-tra special friend the recognition that Codemasters seem to have forgotten to give him.....
